The environmental protection “Pastures of the Wetterau” project was implemented along with the Wetterau district and the towns of Hungen and Nidda and carried out many measures and activities from 2010 to 2014. The aim of all this is to preserve the habitats in the grasslands that have traditionally been grazed by sheep, to maintain their astonishing biodiversity and allow it to flourish further.
